Don’t Ignore your small AC Problems

One thing that every homeowner should recognize is that any little problem with your air-conditioner can turn into a big problem when you ignore it. See, big problems cost big bucks, small problems cost little, yet the small problems if ignored can get bigger quickly.

Let me ask you a question: when is it ever a good time for your air-conditioner to stop working? Also, when is it ever a good time to be forced to spend $1000 on a new air-conditioner?

Isn't it better to get your air-conditioner fixed now, while the fix is still only $50 as opposed to allowing that same problem manifest into a $500 problem?  Or a $1000 replacement?

Let's be clear about one thing: it is always a bad time for your air-conditioner to break down. Do you have any of these problems? Well, if any of these examples remind you of how your AC than it is time to get it fixed as soon as possible.

AC Repair: Icing

Icing is a big problem. I know that you think that your air-conditioner is supposed to cool your house down, so, what's a little ice? Well, the thing is: your refrigerant is probably leaking. It is also likely that your air ducts are clogged, causing the coils that contain the refrigerant to freeze over. See, the fluid is supposed stay inside of your air-conditioner coils and blow around the house. If the fluid begins to leak, then there is a bigger problem that needs addressing.

AC Repair: Low Airflow

At the end of the day, the reason you have an air-conditioner is so that you can cool your home or office down on hot days. If your air-conditioner is not performing at the same capacity as it did when you first bought it, then frankly, it is only going to get worse. So, at the end of the day, you need to get your AC fixed before the airflow stops.

AC Repair:Awkward Noises

If you begin to hear awkward sounds coming from your air-conditioner, even if it is working, you cannot afford to ignore what's going on because that sound is a guarantee that your system is only going to get worse, not better. If you hear a wheezing sound, it could mean that your air flow is disrupted, which is dangerous because as soon as that airflow stops, your refrigerant coils freeze and burst, causing your air-conditioner to stop working.

In cases like this, you can either wait for your entire air-conditioner to break, costing hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars to fix and replace... Or you can just get that annoying problem taken care of 100 bucks by your local professional. It's your choice! 619-697-6077
